Solution

A next-generation datacenter has Super-HEART, at its heart.

Multi-source

A multiport DC-DC converter designed with renewable energy in mind. Super-HEART can balance several DC sources and loads, including bidirectional power transfer to on-site hydrogen generation and storage.

Multi-purpose

Super-HEART uses modular componentry and integrated supercapacitors to reconfigure in the event of an internal fault, but this embedded energy storage can do much more. Used for power conditioning, they mitigate the effects of brownouts and intermittent energy generation. Used to support the full load, they compensate for the dynamics of fuel cell backup generation in the event of a blackout.

Multi-stage

With efficiency in mind, Super-HEART uses a DC-DC architecture and magnetic bus to minimise conversion stages. Fewer conversion losses naturally reduce OpEx, but additionally reduce the burden on thermal management systems.
